Mustang Lounge in Mackinac Island

Nice little bar open year round on the island. This bar has decent food and a pretty good beer selection. You can watch TV at the bar as well. It's not a huge place but if you want bar food and a bar atmosphere it has it. I don't usually pick going here because there are many other great restaurants on the island to visit but it's worth a one time shot to check out. It's located downtown in the center of everything as well!

Great casual environment on the island with really good wings and cold drinks. Awesome first responder patches all over the bar and super close to ferries.

The food was excellent and the service was even better! I thought we'd have to wait forever for a table but we waited two minutes. The server was knowledgeable of the draft list and was able to find a new beer for me to try. He also knew a lot about his wine list and was able to find my dad a glass of something semi sweet.

My wife and I come to this place every year while we stay on the island, the food is amazing.

Staff not wearing masks! Wait staff rude! We left and had an awesome meal elsewhere! This was the only establishment on the island that wasn't following the governor's order on masks!

Simple food, great service and location to stop and grab a bite while on the island.

The smoked wings are always my favorite🍗! Also friendly staff. You can always see the hard working owner running around 24/7 making sure everything is running smoothly. This place is a Mackinac staple.

Maybe spend time training your staff how to handle their job or getting people qualified for the job in a tourist location, where obviously there will be groups of 10 or more at some times. Also try accepting criticism to improve so your place doesn't seem so unprofessional. Maybe start by not getting all defensive on these reviews and acting like you can do no wrong.

Great food, Sierra was a wonderful server! Music was too hard for us though.

Came here for lunch today. The caesar salad, chili and flatbread Cuban sandwich were out of this world. Karlton, our bartender and server was outstanding. We will definitely be returning. A+++

We make a point of coming here every time we are on the island and they never disappoint. Our server, Cierra, was very friendly and food came out quickly. This time I had the fish and chips, which is three medium sized pieces of cod, beer battered and deep fried. It was a little bit more crispy than I usually like, but still very good. The crinkle cut fries were perfect. My partner had the shrimp basket and said they were very good and was the right sized portion. In past visits we have had their pizza and it is very good as well.

Best food on the island & reasonably priced. The best roasted root veggies I've ever eaten & the steak was yummy! The service was excellent!

Went on 4th of July weekend and service and food was awesome. Owner wandering the floor making sure everything was going smooth, doing all the jobs. Took the time to talk to our kids and interact in a way that makes you happy to patron his restaurant. Menu wasn't large but the food is amazing. Definitely will return.

Waitress was overreacting when we came in with 13 people. She was extremely rude, so much so that we decided to leave before ordering.Also, the owner is obviously extremely childish since he cannot take any constructive criticism. Replying to every negative comment about his establishment with a petty remark is not very professional.

Real smoked ribs! They had the BBQ sauce on the side cause they're cooked with a rub. The mac n cheese was really good too. Good beer selection.

Superb. I had lunch here, and it was awesome! It is decorated to make you feel as if you were back in the revolutionary times, but I appreciate it! The food was very good, and I would go back again if given the opportunity.

Went here during lunch rush, someone got my girlfriend and I a table immediately. Staff was wonderful, helped my girlfriend pick out a pleasant beer and got our food to us quickly. It was great food and very affordable, highly recommend.

Local hangout with a long history on the Island. Try the Fried Cauliflower in wing sauce! Bloody Mary's are excellent.

Great Michigan island vibe. Good selection of food and craft brew. Coasy environment.I tried the 'Final Absolution' 10% brew. I would love to try 'My Chest Hurts' 12% brew. All served in 16oz serve, that's unusual. Maybe a island rule or lack of.The waitress initially looked a bit gruff. Understandable because it was the only place open that day, all other places were closed because of end o season in the island. They were super busy. Later she seems lot better. Her work, however, flawless all throughout.Highly rec

The servers (all but one) and bartenders weren’t wearing any masks. Come on guys. Good food, though.

I think this was the only restaurant open the first weekend of November when we were there. Standard type of bar food, lots of meat and carbs, two meals a day there did the trick of keeping us full.

Food was delicious the staff was very welcoming. Appetizers came out pretty soon and Erica was a wonderful server

Best Tavern on the island. We love to stop here everytime we are on Mackinaw. Awesome staff, good affordable food.

The mustang is the place to hang out when on mackinac island. All the locals go there. Good food, good service. If you are lucky enough to have Miranda as your server, you will be taken care of. 🍺

Very good cheddar and bacon burger. Fries were crisp and hot. Prompt, fast service. $36 for two big burgers and cokes. I'd eat here again.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Terrible food, terrible staff, when I ordered a pizza the waitress said to me “you really want to order that.”

We stopped here for some drinks, walked around Main St. and still found ourselves back here an hour later. Great place, great staff and great drinks.

Our server Erica was great and I loved everything I had! The smoked wings were amazing, and the fish and chips were satisfying. The drinks I had were great as well. Chill environment too, definitely would come back again, very happy with our experience (had a 4 year old with us, and felt that this place was kid friendly!).

Good burgers and brew, and a casual atmosphere. We usually stop here once each time we visit the island.

Oh man did I really want to like this place. Our waitress (Bailey) was excellent. Honestly she was the best part of our dining experience. Very nice, very helpful. The food was unbelievably disappointing though. Neither my husband or I liked the food and the atmosphere was very loud and chaotic. If you’re going to try eating here, the boomin cauliflower is pretty good, but the house salad and breakfast burger are definitely skips.

I would recommend trying a different restaurant. Food was extremely basic with nothing special to it. We asked for our avocado bites to be taken off the bill as they were truly disgusting! Our server was very short with us, too.
